ABOUT US

​Red Raider Robotics 6381 was founded in 2016, becoming the official FIRST robotics team for the Sheboygan Area School District, but has since expanded to encompass more students throughout the Sheboygan area. In our first year, we won the Rookie All-Star Award at the Milwaukee Regional. Red Raider Robotics won the FIRST Impact award, the most prestigious award in the FIRST program, at the 2026 Lakeland District Event. We are constantly trying to promote STEAM in our community through outreach initiatives such as FLL classes, various community events, social media, and more. Our team currently consists of over 40 students and 10 mentors. 

RED RAIDER MANUFACTURING

Red Raider Manufacturing was founded in 2014 as a joint project between the Sheboygan Area School District and area manufacturing companies. The purpose of this program is to graduate students with a high level of technical skill and ability. There will be numerous STEM position openings at local companies in the coming years and not enough workforce to fill the spots.

FIRST ROBOTICS

FIRST Robotics is an international robotics competition based out of Manchester, New Hampshire. Each year, a new game is released and teams have six weeks to develop, build, and program a robot to compete in the game.​​
