State Advocacy Day

Our commitment continues every February at the Wisconsin state capitol for Advocacy Day, where we’ve met with seven state lawmakers, including Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu, to champion the DPI Robotics League Participation grant. This $4.5 million biannual grant ensures that students from middle school through high school, statewide, have the resources to compete and lead in STEM.

SLATE

​For the past two years, Red Raider Robotics has partnered with FRC team 6574 Ferradermis to represent FIRST Wisconsin at the SLATE education conference, introducing over 1,800 educators to STEM learning tools, including Onshape, Bambu Studios, and Basecamp, as well as FIRST programs.

Shop Tours

Last spring, we brought that mission home by hosting Governor Tony Evers and Representative Joe Sheehan at our facilities, directly showcasing how FIRST programs prepare students for the workforce and further cementing governmental support. ​
